Diablo IV update 2.0: Leaks, rumors, and release date,

Ana sayfa / Technology

Blizzard Entertainment announced today that Diablo IV will receive its biggest update yet with Update 2.0, which will launch on October 8, 2024 alongside the Vessel of Hatred expansion.

Update 2.0 introduces widespread changes that will fundamentally alter the core systems and mechanics that have been in place since Diablo IV’s initial release. Some of the major changes include overhauling the character advancement system by separating character level and refinement points. Character level will now be capped at 60, and refinement points will track across all heroes in a player’s world rather than being tied to individual characters.

The update also brings adjustments to health, armor and main stats for readability without affecting power. A new difficulty progression system replaces the previous Nightmare Dungeons with Torment levels unlocked in the new endgame Pit area. Glyph upgrading is shifted to the Pit and provides more control and rewards.

Elon Musk: Starlink will provide internet service direct to cell

Elon Musk announced that the Starlink service will soon provide uninterrupted internet access to mobile devices.

Quality of life changes are also planned, like always allowing Ancestral items starting from Torment 1. Sacred items are becoming obsolete to simplify gearing. Each class is gaining a new defining skill and five new passive abilities to expand builds.

Developers say these changes are aimed at streamlining systems, giving players more agency over challenges, and making character and itemization more unique and impactful. It represents the team’s goal to continually evolve Diablo IV based on player feedback. The massive Update 2.0 promises to significantly change the core Diablo IV experience when it launches alongside new endgame content this October.
